"The Windmill Grill was established in 1970. It is a family run business and we have owned it now for 8 years. Previously to owning the Windmill Grill we owned our own fishing trawler and fished out of Portavogie on the County Down Coast. The Mawhinney family have been involved with the fish business for generations.
We offer a wide range of local produce from Portavogie and Killkeel.This includes cod and haddock, smoked cod and scampi to homemade lasagne. We also have tortilla wraps and sandwiches, various dinners such as roast beef, chicken, steak and gammon. Baked potatoes with various fillings are also a big favorite.
As well as the usual chip shop things we also serve tea, coffee and soft drinks. We also cater for small parties, group discounts available".
