A special mention must go to Millisle resident and local historian Bobby Hackworth for his contribution in the making of this page.
Sadly Bobby passed away in Feb 2008 and has been a great loss to the village.
Many of the images seen here are from his personal collection and after some assurances given to Bobby he let North Down Media borrow his much valued albums. The collection was cataloged and returned to Bobby and we are delighted he has given us permission to use some of them on the site.
